Glad you like the last one - think it came out pretty well, hope he likes it (assuming he gets the email).
Re players - most are not overly tall - maybe 6-1 or 6-2 at most. Tackling is below the shoulders, no blocking, assisting one's team mate or obstructing other players so moving the ball is accomplished by passing laterally (no forward passes) combined with brute force rather than sheer speed alone. Compact, low center of gravity, barrel chest with lower body strength is a plus to shed attempted tackles. Wings, who play outside, are much faster and agile.
The player in the first two images is quite tall - 6-6 or more (new to club this year) and strong upper body, and ultimately was brought down by those he could not move and sheer numbers once he was contained by the sideline. Images 3 & 4 are of a wing (I think).
In general, big with an "attitude".
