This is the second image of yours that I have looked at that incorporates the textured background (and in the case, foreground and even subject). In this particular instance, it really makes the image feel as though it is a painted piece. Do you mind me asking what affects you are applying to accomplish this? I typically leave my post processing (if any) to cropping, lightening/darkening and the very, very basics.
I really like this affect and you have really made this piece feel as though it is not a photograph.

I use Topaz filters in addition to Photoshop filters.
