Enjoyed all the pics. You seem to have a variety of cameras and lenses, both Nikon and Canon's best. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Images like this just don't tend to 'happen' they begin in the mind of one with a great vision to create them. I'd be darn proud to have a few of these let alone an entire set like you have presented Chris

It is a treat to come to this forum and see work like this, you put a lot of feel into these and excluded a lot of little things that could detract and the results are impressive. A few thoughts, for me #5 comp doesn't settle as well as it could for me, would still like to see the swan further left and perhaps a bit more overhead? #6 is such a great shot but I am finding the WB a bit too cool perhaps? Yes, nits I guess and not likely you need any but close to perfection is a dangerous thing

Awesome, invigorating, captivating and bringing a hush and peacefulness with nature......Exquisite work Chris

The camera is but a tool to produce the image you see in you mind's eye and you use it to perfection.
So many little things have to be done just so to get these results. D

Getting it right once maybe luck...but consistently shows considerable skill.

Stupendously good set Chris - absolutely wonderful!

I particularly like the hooded merganser shots and the spider is something else!

A suberb set (as usual), Chris; masterfully shot, composed, and processed.

My favorites are the GBH, the spider, and the second swan; each of them has a uniqueness that enhances the impact. Oh, I also like the Merganser take-off...I'm so used to seeing (and presenting) shots that "leave room" for the bird; this one is all the more striking because it speaks more to where she's been rather than where she's going!

Thank you very much Greg for your comment.
When it comes to the Merganser take off shot I really like to include the splashes of water showing where she has been.If there were no splashes I would have cropped it the other way.(Where she is going)

Thanks again

Chris
