Landing godwit, it's a very common bird and not as exciting as a raptor

but I like the feather patterns and the golden color! he is a skilled landing pilot too

Super image Arash. The bird looks a bit asymmetrical in its approach, which makes for an interesting pose.

Great exposure on this guy Arash. The marbled godwit is far from common to us in the northeast, but then again most of the raptor species are common .
