Hi everyone,

The following three images were made this summer in the Coast Mountains of southern British Columbia. It's been a great experience backpacking in some truly amazing wilderness throughout the past couple months. Hopefully more to come this autumn!

- Black Tusk Awakening -
Back Tusk stands stoically amidst a clearing storm while Broad-leaved Willowherb and Scarlet Paintbrush flowers flourish in the valley below; Garibaldi Provincial Park.

- Matier Sunset -
The evening's last sunlight graces the peaks surrounding the turquoise waters of Upper Joffre Lake and Matier Glacier; Joffre Lakes Provincial Park.

- Frigid Passage -
Sunlight illuminates the inside of a tunnel in a massive snowfield, revealing vibrant colour and swirling patterns in the ice; Garibaldi Provincial Park.

All images made with a Canon 5DM3 and a Canon 17-40mm f/4.

Nice shots. I would have loved to see the flowers in #1 as a more prominent foreground though. #3 isnt helping my desire to shoot a snow cave

Where is the "Frigid Passage" specifically in Garibaldi Provincial Park? Looks awesome! Reminds of that place in...Iceland I think.
