Thanks Ron, Ken, Tim, Richard, Phoo, Socrate, Tam, Scott, Kenny and Chris.
The best time to walk through a temperate rain forest is on a slightly rainy day; the falling rain washes everything clean, the mosses and lichens open up to get their fair share of moisture, and the freshness of the air reminds you how much pleasure there is in the simple act of breathing.
And when you're in the coastal rain forests of northern California that also have redwoods... ooo-la-la!
