Does anyone know what programs work with the RAW Sony RX100 Files. They don't give you any software and so I had to plug in the camera and copy the files. They won't open in the Canon programs at all and I'm wondering what works best.

If you're talking about the first RX100 : In my experience, Photoshop CS6&Lighroom 4.4 can open&process the .ARW files, but ACR 8.2.0.73 doesn't have the lens distortion correction profile yet.

I downloaded an image converter from the sony website.
I also used adobe DNG converter to conv ARW to DNG for my adobe prog.
Enðed up buying ELEMENTS 11, which I currently use.
I have Nikon, Canon and now also Sony, and Imonly want ONE converter, so Adobe Elements 11 was the solution.

Thanks guy for your responses. I have Lightroom 5 on it's way. I wish I could use Digital photo professional from Canon.

Thanks Derek_S and Gardener - Lightroom 5.0 just arrived. Haven't looked at it yet, but I hope it opens the Sony files.

Once you've used LR5 for a few minutes I bet you won't be wishing you could use DPP for your canon gear

I'm amazed there is no form of raw reader given with the RX by Sony .

There is a raw prog for sony RX100 . Its can be downloaded fron Sony website.
