Goaded on by Jim Rickards and Deinfaces:
This little series represents my dive into the deep waters off the Turkish coast to find the Lost City of Atlantis.
#1 Our submersible's skipper- Captain Nemo.
#2 A gigantic flesh-eating sea anemone. (name corrected)
#3 The "footprint" of a Mermaid.
#4 The Mermaid herself.

After engaging the images- read the words that follow them...

My little story is fictional, although the images are real.
The "Mermaid" is a giant sea cow- AKA manatee.

You have to had lots of rum to think of that Manatee as a beautiful mermaid Charlie! But the sea urchin IS one beautiful creature although it looks more like an anemone to me.

Thanks Eric and Bob.
Your mention of rum was no-doubt intentional, because it was the old-time sailors that spent months at sea, occasionally got drunk as skunks (what the H does THAT mean?), and saw "mermaids" at times.
Some people think that at least a few of their mermaid sightings were of manatees- although these gentle giants are not deep-sea creatures.
Who knows?
Well, the Shadow knows, but he ain't telling.
