Love the title. Beautifully blurred background and I love the tones,I wonder how it would look if you cropped the image after the extra branches on the left, just a thought.

thanks for the feedback, Barbara.
Not sure where you mean to crop. Feel free to try it out, repost.

I'm with Barbara on this one, there is too much "stuff" on the left, causing the beautiful KF to be facing "out" of the image. Crop the leftmost 1/3 of the image (basically all of the left branch, leave the shadows between left branch and KF branch) and it will pull him back to just left of center, and also make him more of the focal point. Such a beauty deserves less distraction

The kingfisher doesn't seem sharp enough. Is that down to my eyes or is it actually soft in the full size image ? If it's not pin sharp then I see this exercise as a great idea for another shot but not worth the effort for this shot.

This is a very lovely photo, the original ... not the cropped version.

Dunno, I am still partial to the atypical original crop.
Alan, got to check the full size image but it may be soft.
Roniamarie, this is now an older post. What made you decide to view it?
And thx for your comment
