The weather has been not so good here lately and I have not done any shoot.
So got a bit of time on hand and dig out a few shoots I've done in the past to process a few images that I have not selected in the past. Below are a few of Catherine Grant:

I always love your work. You seem to have a way of bringing out some really great personality in your shoots. And beyond that, the technical stuff is always spot on.

Hi Peter,

I can't remember what minor adjustment I've done on PS with the color but when it come out of Lightroom, the settings are as follow:

Just look at how the curve is bended and also in split tone settings.

Once it comes out of LR and into PS, I just do some minor adjustment in color tone to get to the final image #3.

Hope that helps.

Hi David,

Thank you for your kind words.
To be honest, I came across from another forum that someone mentioned the work of Laurent Nivalle and his use of color palette. So I was looking at his pictures and after a while, was trying to play around color to try to get to the color tones he used. However, I failed and in try to get there, I applied the few experimental settings to the above images and that's how I got the above images processed. Still wanting to know how Laurent does his color

Great set, everyone of them! She has a really beautiful smile and you captured it perfectly... No.2 on your webpage is easily a cover page

Good stuff, I really love to see these photos with the original color and contrast. But, this is only me and my way to think about photography in general. These days it seems you don't have a good photo until you apply a VSCO effect or something like that.

Love this set. The emotion coming from the model seems so genuine. Regardless of the processing (which I am a fan of), its the emotion you pull out of your subject that makes these all a winner. Glad you went back and pulled them from the archives!

Hi,

Thank you for your comment. I do understand if you meant "in color" but I don't really understand what is "Original color", I shoot in RAW format should I need to do some adjustments in LR or the color of the images will look very flat.

If you mean in color then I have a few on the link/blog entry above. I have probably shown them in an older thread already but here are a few in color:

Thank you for your time, the only thing I want to say, we should stay away from plugins like vsco, etc, or use it in a non destructive way. We have to keep our photography clean..... I think... good color, good contrast and good photography.
Again, thank you, and congratulations for you work
