my .02 cents

your site needs redone.
the HUGE photos put me off. way to hard to view. less is more. It is just like BAM and then way to many huge photos.

With a good culling of image you could present a portfolio that is WAY WAY WAY stronger.

The inclusion of images that are not as good brings down your brand as a whole. I would say you could charge 500-1000$ more (and I did not even look at your prices) by just having better a better website and more selective portfolio.

Other than that your photos are nice. You can take good photos in a variety of different lighting situations and even though I saw some weird processing and toning nothing was to bad.

Hi Rui,
+1 to what hardlyboring said.

The site loads fast, i tested it on pc and my phone. The photos look better on the phone than the computer. some of the large photos are fuzzy.

hope this helps.

Thanks for taking the time.

What browser did you use? The photos shouldn´t show up HUGE
But I know that is happening in some browsers.

Too huge. Too slow. Too difficult to navigate. I left after 15 seconds.

The work is great. It just needs better/functional presentation.

Site loads very fast. The photos, for me, were not huge. Photos were average or smaller in size than what everyone else is doing. Your biggest pics were about 900 pixels x 600 pixels.

Well if the pictures are showing up different sizes for different people that is not good.

You need to control the size of the photos across all browsers and also on the phone.

Keep in mind that Diggler's still on something like a 17" monitor from 2002.

Upsized or not, I agree they need to be controlled/confined.

Looking at the homepage on a 27" monitor I fit the first 2 pics, and a 1/3rd of the 3rd picture. They also seem a little fuzzy to me as well.

You also may want to drop one of the first two pictures, same pose, just different area. Like Hardlyboring mentioned, cull them down to show your best of the best.

I'd cull the images down to show less and only the best (as has been stated above). Also, less grooms overall I think. Groom photos don't play as major part in the purchase decision, because even the grooms would mostly rather emphasize their bride in the photography. So unless you are going to market yourself as a groom specialist I'd re-focus... My 2 cents.

How many photos you like to see in a portfolio?

I viewed the site on an uncalibrated work laptop using Chrome. The site looks perfectly fine. No size problems. It seems to be a responsive site -- the images loaded, and then it resized very slightly, and after that, it was fast and attractive.

Your wedding work looks nice. Consistent, good quality.

The site is definitely responsive. Doug was probably viewing it from his 30" monitor haha.

I'll say you are selling yourself short with your site and branding. Your work is good, so I would definitely invest in site redesign.

I also agree, cut down the portfolio to a smaller, stronger set of images. Some of your (I assume) older work are a lot weaker.

Get rid of that copyright/stamp on your portfolio.

Invest in a designer to come up with branding/logo.

widjayaman, yes I have some older work mixed in.
Cuting down some images now...
Thanks for the advice.
