The light was pretty bad and this guy surprized me .I was standing in the marsh in pretty good cover and a buddy was about 30 feet to my right .We were shooting Ospeys when this guy came out of the reeds between us,no more than 15 feet .The funny thing was we were there for almost half an hour not being that quite before it made its move and it did not move far .It landed on the pileings 50 feet in front of us.All comments good ,bad,ugly are welcome thank you

Hey Mike, a tad noisy at 320 iso. By the look of the settings I'm guessing these were kind of dark in capture and lightened up in pp. Try some NR on the BGD. You do have some nice poses. #4 is my pick.

Great job nabbing this when you surprised you Mike

The light is hot and the angle is bad but... he did catch you by surprise

I like the last the best of the set. It seems to be the sharpest and the pose is perfect
