I rented the 200 f/2 IS for the 4th of July week this year, and I loved it. I already own the 70-200 IS II as well...and it doesn't seem in the same class. The zoom exceeds or nearly meets all the primes in its range in sharpness...except this one. Sharper at f/2 than the zoom is at f/2.8. At f/2.8 and up, it seems to out-resolve my 5D3's 22 MP (if you ever bother to stop down - it does make great landscapes). Even the IS is better by my unscientific tests (I shot down to 1/15 no problem, some at 1/10 usable).
I used it for tons of portraits, and f/2.0 is a completely different world from f/2.8. A different class of blur. If you love abstracting distant backgrounds into a clean gradient, this is the way to do it. I also brought it with me on a hike, and it provided nice separation from busy foliage when my friends were walking by.
I checked your flickr page briefly - I think you'd love it. I think I'd hate you for taking that B&H deal before I have the money for it, though.
