p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · Transcend CF failure!

Put my card in the card reader and can't load my files into Bridge! Put the card back in the camera and got a message about unreadable or something like that. When I took the shots the images showed on the cameras back LCD. I've used other cards in the meantime and everything worked fine. Can't contact transcend through their website. The shots aren't worth paying big bucks to have retrieved but there were a few that I was looking forward to having. Any ideas on how to get them back inexpensively?

Has the card actually failed or is the data or FAT corrupted?

I'm "technologically challenged," I don't have a clue how to implement the programs available online to retrieve the data. I grew up on black and white TV.

Well so did I. There was not much color before 1966, so the high cost of color TVs was not justified. By Christmas of 1966 everyone wanted a color TV if they didn't have one already.

I've used Recuva on corrupted CF cards with some success. Operation is straightforward.

We didn't even have tv when I was a kid. I was almost ten before we got our first tv. Even I can use recovery sofltware. Just download it, install it and run it.

If you were in Hawaii I would let you fly me there to show you how.
