#2 is really nice, the pano works well with that. I think #1 could be really cool, it's a nice more intimate view, but the OOF leaves in the lower middle and the lower right are distracting. You might try Content Aware fill and see if you can lose those OOF leaves.
Otherwise when you just have to have a view because it's so cool but there are some branches or leaves in the shot that you can't avoid. Take your first set of shots from that location. And then move slightly to your left (or right) until those protruding leaves have moved in the frame to cover something else... Then back at home while processing you can use a layer mask to blend in parts of the shots from the 2nd position into the first. As long as you don't move too much so the perspective gets changed too much, it's an easy way to fill in for those branches. And while it would take 2 shots, it's not like you are faking a scene, you are simply usng two shots to get a clear view of a real scene.
