Did you turn 5 upside down? You've got artistic balls, and I dig it.

Waddup Steve! Your processing is looking especially excellent here. Very high end and finished looking. Good job!

I like quite a few of these VERY much, including 1,4,5,7,8,11. Here's some thoughts on the others

Images like this are very trendy right now, but I have to be honest and say that I don't get it. I feel like they show that the photographer knows how to use slow shutter, but I'm not sure if a client would really want this or not. Maybe if there was a bit more goofing around or something it might make more sense?

This one falls in to the swing-and-a-miss category for me. The good thing is that you're swinging. Everybody misses a few. I think some light, some smiles and some still water may have helped here:

In a strange way, these two images seem very similar to me in tone and pose, but I think the second is much stronger because of the mystery of not having him face the camera and the much better light that it presents:

Hi Steve!

I really like your processing, it is very clean and consistent! I dont feel overly qualified to comment on engagement sessions because quite frankly, I havent done many! I will say that the images presented gives me a positive vibe about the couple. It seems as though you had a good photographer/client rapport with them!

For some reason, the novelty sunglasses 'cheapen' the polished look of the first four images. Not sure why (perhaps I'm just an elitist snob). But they dont jive with the polished feel of the images.

Images like 1 (minus the glasses), 4, 5, 7, 11 (minus the instrument) are your strong suit. They are simple, beautiful, and well executed. I can see you pushing the envelope a bit with images like 6 and 9....and that is definitely a good thing...but I dont think they work. It seems what when you strayed from your classy, well posed shots and tried to get creative the shots came off as a bit forced.

All in all, very nice work!

i enjoyed this set and how simple it is. love the swinging one (#8). Where the guy is looking in #10 didn't really work out for me, maybe if he was looking at the lens it would've worked better. Still a solid set!

Nice set--I like the processing. 11 is my fave for sure.

4 would be stronger, I think, if we got at least the bride's full mouth in the crop. Better yet if you get the tip of the nose. When I crop this way I usually try to get these bits because they make the individuals very identifiable while still leaving a bit of mystery.

Wow, some great comments so far, more than I'm qualified to give, so I'll leave it at: you have a strong eye and engage in brave compositions. If your clients appreciate your art, anything the rest of us say is a mile and a half besides the point. Good going.
