p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · A silly question about book formats:

I'm about to make a Blurb Book. I'm looking at the large landscape format or the large square format.
The thing is that I have about 85% of my images in horizontal orientation. I'm planing to place 1-6 (mostly1-4) images per page. Esthetically and in terms of wasting minimal space on the pages - which book format would be the better choice: square or landscape format?
My limited brain hasn't been able to figure it out.
Hope this is the right forum.

Just do it both ways and then decide. Not the whole book, but a few sample pages.

Learn how to do custom layouts. Don't be restricted to the Blurb layouts.

Yes, the space surrounding images is important. In art it is often referred to as white space, but it could be black or any tonal value, and it can add or detract from the presentation.
