Nice flora and fauna post buddy! The composition in the Iris shot is perfect. I am loving the BB pic also! As for the 1st one, I would really like to see that bud in isolation given the superb BG. IMHO, the OOF bud in the back distracts the eye from the main subject.

Not sure we have those BB over here Karl.
Would be nice to see the top of the plant and when it erupts. Hope you get your camera back in time.
A lovely Iris pic and a super BB (bird) and perch!

I didn't know that Bee Balm was a type of plant

No.2 is my pick, I think the composition and crop work very nicely here.

I like the Bluebird too, I really wish we had a few of those over this side of the water as they make for great photo's as your shot proves.

Thanks Mike, Iris seems to be the hit

Though I can agree with you on a loan shot of #1 I would like to have included even more OOF in the BG as this is a mass planting and wanted to capture its companions too

Really would have shot these every which way you could imagine but this was a quick shot off to work then my camera shut down completely and is at Canon service again and they are giving me lousy service...........really lousy

I love that first shot, Karl.
Great subject, comp and colors. I'm sure you have more variations on that one.
Another winner is the Blue bird. A real beauty.

Ok Karl, you got my attention! I really like #1, the colors are grand. Not bold not soft just very pleasing. And needless to say the feathers get the cigar Buddy. Very nice!

Mighty nice opener of the Hummer flower Karl and I hope you get one on it

Mesmerizing DOF for this one too, I like it

Deep rich color for your Iris and that's a nice angle!

The BB King picked a very nice perch and your processing for this one shines buddy.
Those splayed tail feathers do add and the BG is very complimentary to the birds colors!

Not very good PR for our friends at Canon on this delay my friend, hope it's back to you soonest.

Love the Iris Karl! And the Blue Bird! But the OOF leaf on the BB is a little "weird" for me. That Iris is just simply stunning! Love it Pal!

Very nice trio Karl!
I dig the vertical comp on the Iris and the sweet BG and perch and complimentary colors on the Swallow.
The Bee Balm is my favorite though. I like how you framed it with the OOF one and it's just a very pleasing scene.
Didnt notice the first time, but there's a weird halo (or maybe it's a spider web around one of the petals on the foreground flower.It still rocks though buddy!
