Loved them all!
Specially as a practitioner of the art.

Care to share the gear used?
I'm curious, since I've shot some training sessions as well (not championships, though).

Congrats and TIA.

These were all done with a D700 / 85mm 1.8G. This is quickly turning into my most used lens!

Thanks.
I've used my D3s and nikkor f1.4 twice, but with that short focal length I was just a little too close to the fighters (my sparring partners, in fact).
Since I didn't want to be inconvenient and disturb them, I opted for the sigma 85mm f1.4 and back away a little, but the longer focal length and the bad lighting required me to use higher iso (needed more shutter speed to make up for the longer focal length), which I was not all that happy about, hence my question.

Thanks again.
Loved your work!

These are excellent, I specially like the last one. BJJ photography is definitely something I want to get into but I'm looking for more interesting ways to photograph the grapplers.

Wow, cool to see this resurface Here's a few more recent ones, mainly from early March. I'll be shooting another tournament in late April, so hopefully I'll have some more shots for you folks!

(same gear this time around - Nikon D700, 85 1.8G)

What aperture are you shooting at, I like the blurred back ground.
