p.1 #1 · Photoshop bright red highlight spots

Has anyone come across the high lights in photoshop flashing bright red or staying red? I have tried many things but they stay there. Its photoshop version CS4.

In Photoshop proper? There are no Overexposure or Underexposure indicators in Photoshop itself; they are only present in Adobe Camera Raw and Lightroom.

To turn it off the Overexposure indicator in Adobe Camera Raw press the "O" key; for the underexposure indicator press "U". They can also be turned off/on by clicking directly on the triangles in the upper left and right corners of the histogram.

In Lightroom the keyboard command is different; the "J" key turns off/on both indicators.

I must have a faulty installation of Photoshop CS6 since I can't seem to find clipping/exposure indicators in the histogram.
