I've been looking for 1 too and see a lot of people recommend a "wreath" storage bag from Michaels/ Target etc. Some of these have padding. Others have mentioned a drum bag from music stores (instruments)

Paul Buff has an inexpensive bag that is extremely well made. Fits most 22' dishes.

And for those feeling flush, Tenba has a purpose-made Car Case:

I don't travel with a BD, but this looks pretty effective.

Nothing like a case that's half the cost of the modifier...

SKB makes a great hard case perfect for transporting 22" beauty dishes. This will hold a Mola Demi (22" beauty dish) with the speed ring attached and a grid (in a case).

If you're looking for a cheap around-the-town case, Ikea makes a plastic wreath bag. $3.99. No protection, but you could add some padding inside.

Hope this helps!

I was disappointed--it doesn't even fit their old dish.

The cheapest good bag IMO is the Hensel--I've got two, one for my beauty dish and one for my collapsible reflectors. The Kacey bag is only a little more and is a little better.

My gripe with both of them is that they lack shoulder straps, but I took a couple of D-rings and some rivets to my bags and fixed that problem. Any gear worth using is worth modding.

As hokey as it maybe. I deal with these guys once a year, I bought this about 2 years ago and have hauled it through hell and back. Works... no rips... does what it's suppose to do just like advertised on the tin.

For what it's worth.

There are no markings on it for those of you that are label conscious..

I used to own Hensel gear and also enjoyed the beauty dish bag. However, I find that the Paul Buff bag is much more robust. It does have an over-the-shoulder strap and a compartment for a large grid. At $40 it's also an amazing deal.

I agree with RDKirck about the Hensel bag that I'm using with my BD. It has a separate compartment inside for the BD accessories like a sock so it works for me.

The only gripe, if I were to point one out, is that it doesn't match the rest of my nearly all black cases due to its blue handles. But that's really it (in the end, no one cares if it matches.. I know I know. haha)
