A little background on my current shooting style - I've been trending more towards a documentary style and shoot unstaged shots 95% of the time. I have always loved the look of film and have been post processing most of my images with VSCO film in lightroom and making manual tweaks and adjustments from there. I have just recently started to show my work more and want some general feedback; i.e. too much of this, or not enough of that, etc.

These 3 shots are all from last night and edited on my laptop (without my calibrated monitor) so the colors may be a bit off.

The post processing seems *very* far off. Very hard to evaluate images that seem so far off. I'd suggest revisiting it with color management unless there's some reason you want such a sickly green cast and such low density shadows.

The low density shadows are purposeful, but the green tint may be more than intended. I'll have to check it in a few days when I get back home to my monitor.

Huge guess here....

OK, now I get it - what film emulation are you using?

It is VSCO in lightroom with adjustments.

Here are the reworks I pulled - don't know which VSCO emulation you are applying

Straight LR WB, NR, Sharpening

Color Efex Pro Film Effect - faded

First, I love these comps
Great lighting and engaging scenes well-framed
I am not familiar with the emulation
Color balance way off as others have said
Apart from correcting the color balance these might also play well in BW or monotone

I have to go against the majority here, I really like the images posted above. You went for a VSCO film emulation and you nailed it. One could always do some tweaks here and there like desaturate a touch more and boost contrast slightly.
