Wow, clean images Jeff, especially those backgrounds. The only thing I'd mention would be to level out that wall behind the pitcher in #3. Even though it might be angled downhill in real life from your vantage point, with a crop like this there wouldn't be any way to tell, so you might as well make it level.

Thanks for the comments Tom. I will keep an eye on being level. Shots of the pitchers were through the fence. Nice to be able to eliminate the distractions.

Love the facial expression in #2; looks like you caught the right "moment" on that one.

Good stuff. I even like the HDR look in the last one. Subtle. But it makes you stop and take a second look.

Thanks for the comments. I have had fun shooting baseball this year.

Thanks Chris. The player in #2 is a competitor and a really hard worker. He is a little guy and he puts everything into it.

Frank,

I use Topaz Adjust 5 from Topaz Labs. Easy to use and sometimes you can get some nice images with the preset buttons without much work. Topaz has some tutorials and samples on their website. Here is a link to a post from a few weeks ago with some screenshots and samples about Topaz.
