Your HP is a pigment printer that is best for printing often (large ink tanks) - and third party inks are available for it bringing the cost down even more. That printer also does excellent B/W printing - and is easily profiled...

The Canon I mention above (Pro 100) gets excellent reviews - but it is not a high volume, large size (no roll printing possible) machine...but for the price you will not find better colors, better blacks and no gloss differential problems...
