The funny thing with the 1 system is that, even though the cameras didn't score high in most reviews, most users seem to be very happy with their performance, even with the V1 and its somewhat flawed ergonomics. The V2 is a fantastic camera, and some of the lenses, particularly the 32mm f/1.2, are very good, although somewhat expensive. Still, dpr hasn't even bothered to review that model. What mostly made me choose m4/3 over Nikon in this case was the lens selection, which does still not cover all all areas, but that will change.
Image quality of the smaller sensor will obviously never become as good as DX or FX sensors, but as technology develops, it will become good enough, which is what counts for most photographers.
