Someone post a screen cap if you can see it; because I sure can't.

it use to be just to the right of the poster's user name (where the 'rate 1, 2, 3, 4, 5' is now. i wonder if you cant vote yet because a new featured thread was just named?

Yes, on the day the Feature Thread is announced (Which is every Friday at 10pm EST)...for a few hours, the feature code is disabled to avoid problems when counting final votes and creating the Winners Gallery.

Because today is Friday and around that time, the button is disabled. It will resume very shortly and you will be able to see it in the location as shown below:
(BTW: The "Vote as Featured Thread" button only shows up on threads with images)

Than can you change it to featured pics or something then? some of the best threads in this forum don't have a single picture in them.

Very true...I would say that most of the time the best threads have no photos.

Me neither ... plus who has time on a Friday that only last a short time.

Can we make the voting open for a week and then feature it the following week. or some variation.

Many followers in the wedding forum are not daily viewers do to work and schedules.

Otherwise i can do without ... rather have the stickies back.

my understanding is that the button is there all the time except for a short period friday night. i've seen the button before although i've never voted.

I've been watching for the button since Fred announced it a few weeks a go... haven't seen it once.

I agree that it should just be available all the time, with a winner auto-chosen each Friday at a specific time. That thread should be "featured" until the next winner replaces it.

The button is now showing. Apparently, it only shows on posts that have images posted in the first post.

If you did something Fred, thank you. It wasn't showing for me until today.

I think Fred had it in mind to feature images shot by FM members, not necessarily to feature discussions, good as they might be.
