I think you'd agree that my Tamron beats the Minolta handily. The Tamron, my copy, even gives my 70-400Gii a run for the money.

I've had the same experiece with my A99ii & Tamron 150-600...so the 400 4.5 went back to KEH, and I even sold my 70-400 v1, as I found myself wanting the extra reach too often & the weight between them wasn't that much. The fact that I found the Tamron in great shape used for 600 bucks made it even better.
