if the court approves...one more LE from Arches National Park. I shot 4, and this is my second favorite of the set.

From our morning exploring around the Garden of Eden section. I climbed up a big slick rock off the side of the road, and setup for this LE looking at another one of the balanced rocks, perched way up high.The clouds were just right, and fleeting fast! I got two shots off before they were gone. Comments and crits are more then welcome, thanks for looking.

I find that it works better to have the clouds moving in a direction that works with the composition, it creates a better dynamic in the image when their movement fits, as opposed to just moving. Thanks for taking the time.

Great image and very interesting comment about the direction of the clouds complementing the composition. This almost looks like a minor aurora borealis.

Thanks. I shot one LE just before this one where the clouds were moving across the frame, and the movement is not as noticable, and to me didnt work much better than the standard shot of the same scene. Nwver thought about it looking like aurora...interesting.

Hey Charlie, I will have to take your word for it, still never seen the Aurora...I need to mark that one off the bucket list at some point...maybe the next trip dad and I take! Glad you like the image, thanks for taking the time to look and comment.
