The official announcement stuff on the 10th post down.

Rumours:
http://www.mirrorlessrumors.com/hot-first-images-of-the-samsung-galaxy-nx-mirrorless-system-camera/

The camera has a 4.3-inch display that on these pictures displays the Android Jelly Bean with Samsungs TouchWiz. The camera should feature a Exynos 4 Quad-Core-Processor with 2 GB RAM and 8 or 16 GB built-in storage (you can chose one or another). It has a 20.3 Megapixel APS-C sensor, records 1080p Full HD. Price should be around 1.000 Euro.

This is going to be an interesting development, depending on how much access to the camera app developers will have, this could be huge!
Am I interested in it? No, ergonomics don't look great in that you will have to use the LCD to change most settings since there is 1 dial & maybe 3 buttons, plus the M mount lens issues, and its a bigger camera than I'm looking for right now, and I do have my heart set on a FF as my next camera.

More interesting if Cyanogenmod supports it so we can ditch Samsung's buggy, slow and lousy TouchWiz UI for Android.

That said, looks more than a little interesting. This is exactly what Samsung needs to be doing with the NX line to make it interesting. Oh, and it better have an SD card slot.

I agree this is what Samsung need to do, which is... be different, push the envelop, blur the lines, and think outside the box.

Could be interesting, but that big screen doesn't look like a swivel or tiltable. Still nice to see Samsung making progress.

There are some really cool things that can be done on smarter cameras...but replacing a host of manual controls with all touch is just a bad idea.

Well much of the success Samsung has had with the Galaxy smart phones is down to large high quality LCD screens, so they must have decided that they need to carry that over into this camera if they target the same user base. And if you are going to include a large LCD screen then that doesn't leave any room for physical controls unfortunately. For people in this forum this is obviously a loss - in fact one of the things that I like about my NX200 is that it has better controls than its Sony and Olympus counterparts and has a nice twin-dial setup. However I think if the idea is to attract Smart Phone users then this may be the right strategy for them.

It's kind of a shame. I've been reviewing the NX300 for the past couple weeks and it's got one of the best touch + physical interfaces I've used. Sad to see that excellent work go by the wayside.

It looks like they are following their first Galaxy phone:

http://connect.dpreview.com/post/8746850893/samsung-galaxy-camera-in-depth-review?page=8

Conclusion - The Good
•Full manual control over shutter speed and aperture in camera app
•Generally fluid and swift operation (but slightly laggy camera app)
•3G/4G and Wi-Fi connectivity options
•Virtually limitless expansion options through installation of apps
•Comprehensive sharing options
•Good quality full-HD video capture, 120fps slow motion mode
•Comprehensive pre-installed movie and image editing options
•Voice control useful in certain shooting situations
•You can play Angry Birds on it

Conclusion - The Bad
•Slightly clunky and sometimes laggy camera app
•Camera parameters reset to defaults after re-start
•Incompatible with most current camera capture apps
•No ability to place phone
...Show more

I am sure they fix some of these bugs but again buttons are preferrable for manual ctrl.

I recently tested and reviewed the NX300 (which is apparently identical internally to this Galaxy NX) and really loved it:

Not that it matters much, but that is one unattractive-looking camera. It's as if the product designers at Samsung slipped a mickey to a Minolta 9Xi and Richo GX-R's battery packs, pushed them into a darkroom together and gleefully watched on CCT to see which camera body would get randy more quickly, subsequently mount and begin humping the other first.

I can see the Minolta fumbling around in the dark, with its AF-assist beam.

Nobody's baby is *ever* ugly, yet this is one ugly baby (camera).

Put your eye on the EVF and you cannot use the control, brilliant!

I didn't get that exactly either. Even if the controls were still available when you put your eye to the evf, it would still be difficult to change settings without physical controls.

Most importantly: does it take a sim card? Can I also use it as a phone/tablet? It would nice to call my wife and send emails while shooting.

Changing EV compensation looks to be a pain while looking through the EVF, at best it's a responsive touch pad with no tactile feedback, at worst, you have to take your eye off the subject to change it.
I'd prefer some buttons and a dial or two, I'd even take a smaller screen, even though the screen could be awesome.

One cool feature, will be synchronizing multiple cameras for effects like "Bullet Time" through some app and Wi-Fi.

Yes according to this:

Not so sure about phone calls, maybe with Bluetooth headset.
From the DPR link above:
despite 4G connectivity you cannot place a phone call with the 'stock' Galaxy NX. Apps like Skype will let you do that

I'm still waiting for the rumoured retro NX.
Do you have a link to your NX300 review?
