On my way today to visit a customer in Central Pennsylvania. Shot from the passenger seat through the windshield with my Sony Nex 6, 16-50 kit lens. Did a little pp, but couldn't get the clouds to emulate how dramatic they were. Any suggestions?
Mostly I used a channel mask to separate the clouds from the foreground. After that, just some color balance, levels, saturation, contrast, USM tweaks ... usual stuff. Then, after that I split the channels, using the red channel for the B&W.
