Nice set, Sasha. I like #5 the best, although I wish you would have framed it a little wider. Part of the bush on the right seems to be missing, and the larger rock on the top left side is cut off.

I'm sure that'll change now that you've revealed the location... :)
Here I thought you were going to show some shots from Joshua Tree. They have a Wonderland of Rocks Trail...
#1 and 2 don't do much for me with the sepia toning and the border. #3 is my favorite followed by #5. I really like the location and lighting in #5, hopefully you have some more shots from that area you can post later.
I'll try to re-process the first two as I like the composition
I was not very ambitious about photography as it was family trip. The light was not right, too early in a day. The last couple of shots were made during golden hour, and it shows.
Although, as Jim says, I do have some prettier pictures to post, for example, this one (even if it is not purely landscape):
Hi Sasha, this looks like a cool location. Like Jim I was expecting the JTNP "Wonderland" but the Chiricauha version looks pretty cool too. I particularly like the rim lighting on #4; that's a beautiful use of golden hour light. I think I would like #5 perhaps even better, but the backlit trees being cut off bothers me; if the view were shifted a few degrees to the right I think it would be excellent. But then, I don't know if there was something to the right that wouldn't have worked to be included. I think #1 might work well as a straight high-contrast B&W without the sepia.
On my one trip to southern AZ I went to Saguaro (which I don't regret), but the Chiricauhas have been on my list; now more than ever!
Dave, thanks for the comment.
Chiricahua is a very cool location, unfortunately, its a long drive from Phoenix.
The backlit trees cut off... the picture was taken with a tele lens from the road, at equivalent of 600mm focal length, so not much choice for the POV
