Colorchecker is great if you're not using VSCO. VSCO uses it's own camera calibration profiles which don't exactly match the different generation cameras.

no you use a color checker card before every shoot to ensure a relative level of accuracy and repeatability. that's inside outside and if your light changes drastically. if you want to maintain the highest level color repeatability you'll learn to do it. it takes only a minute

you do calibrate your monitor too, right?
