Not many users over here, we're moderately light on the old-school RF shooters (our RF crowd seems to tend more to modern Alt's like the ZM lenses). You might want to check over at RFF where there's a small community of users.
It can be relatively easy to convert the lens to M-mount, then a good enough adapter to use it on the NEX. Though the lens has less of a problem than its smaller sibling, the 50/1.2, you still need to watch out for scratches and haze on the elements. These old lenses are prone to get those.
The Canon 50/0.95 is one of many Canon S-mount rangefinder lenses that have the Leica Thread Mount (LTM). There are many sources for LTM to LM adapters. That's why it's in Lens$db.
Jim, I have not seen one in LTM mount before. All of them I have seen were already converted M mount or required the conversion (both RF and TV version). I think only the 50/1.2 has the LTM version.

Actually it isn't LTM. It uses the outer bayonet on some Canon RF's to mount as LTM wasn't considered to be robust enough to mount that rather large hunk of glass. It is convertible to M mount and many if not most examples have had that conversion and the rest are only used on a few Canon RF's. Thankfully those Canon RF's are the most desirable LTM everyday shooters aside from perhaps the Bessa R. Note the site you linked to indicates that it does use the bayonet rather than the S-mount on the Canon 7.
OK, thanks guys. I was going by what the Canon Museum says, "S-Mount, Universal threaded mount conforming to Leica specification". I guess it's not quite that simple.
