Thanks very mush. I travel this area often throughout the four distinct Canadian seasons. There is very little traffic and the stillness is often broken only by the sound of coyotes or the ruffle of hawks.

Thanks Jim. Much of Canada is indeed mountainous, but the Provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan and some of Alberta are very flat being an extension of what you call the American plains. We call them the Prairies.
This photo is from British Columbia, Canada which is very mountainous but this area is an anomaly in that it is a glacially scraped plain between mountains.
