OK, second post today.
Just saw the MA "Celebration". Perhaps this one fits. If not, OK but I still welcome your feedback on the mood captured, portrait overall, technical and processing issues.
She is singing as part of a traditional event offered to our group.
This one has more of a travel feel because of the jewelry. Unless you told us, I would not know she was singing or even talking. That sort of thing makes perfect sense to you because you were there but it does not come across in the image. I cannot see the "mood" you want to convey. I would also like to see her eyes. Usually the eyes convey more of a mood than anything else in a portrait.
Not having been there and having that recollection as a basis when viewing the images, I am overwhelmed by the remarkable, vibrant color. By now most probably assume my predisposition to BW, allowing one to absorb the character and strength of these magnificent individuals less the influence of costume...just my personal preferences. Certainly the color of their dress carries significance to the wearer in terms of membership, social status, etc..
Technically, I think you have nailed all images, superb work and application of technique. As a body of work I think they will be more cohesive and carry more import for the viewer compared to our seeing the images piecemeal. Like the contents of a book, perhaps.
