These past few months have been the busiest of my life. I'm married with three young boys (8, 5, 2), work as a high school administrator, am the associate photographer for Hoffer Photography, I mow lawns for 30 hours a week, and coach three baseball teams (one of which hasnt technically started yet).
All of this will slow down a bit after our graduation next week (I'll be off for the summer, grass will stop growing and I can cut during the week, and two of my teams seasons are over), but it's been pretty damn busy to say the least!
My middle son (5) typically plays Tball (4, 5, 6 year olds). He had a pretty good season and shows some promise to play in the next division next year. I wanted to get him some experience playing with the 'big boys' (7 and 8). So I brought him up to play. I batted him last and he played the outfield. He was fairly nervous and was by far the smallest boy on the field. He was on deck taking practice swings and I was coaching third base when my oldest son came out and started to talk to him. I have no clue what they said, but I reached for my iPhone, pointed it and snapped the photo below.
I think it might be my favorite photo I've ever taken.
