I posted in the Landscape Forum, and of course on my Flickr. It didn't really get much attention, so I'm kind of wondering if there's something wrong with it, or if it is just plain bad.

What can I do to make this a better photograph?

There seems to be a color cast to it, not quite sure how my colors are though. To me, these are always tough to do well as some folks like them with very low saturation, while others like more crayons. Either way, color balance is important.

Some USM and saturation tweaks and some multiply at the bg. Had some trouble trying to decide where to crop too, but I figured the "ledge" was your main subject.

There are some interesting features in the scene, but the composition doesn't say anything coherent to me.

Ah okay. The rocks were more red than your edit RustyBug, but I think I'll go half way to make it look more natural. Thanks!
