Still playing with new lens - thought I'd run these by for suggestions and comments. No particular objective other than test drive the lens.

#1 was 'Live View', tripod, MF, & remote release; remainder hand-held.

Thanks for looking...

Bob

Like the second, best. I've long had a fondness for macros shot with long lenses. My second lens purchase back in the day was a cheap T mount Soligor 400mm. I liked to add it to my T-mount bellows and use it to shoot macro subjects across a room.

Nice little set ... looks like you're test drive is going well.

Curious @ processing?

Thanks Karen, glad you enjoyed them.

#2 - serendipitous alignment of planets.

Yup - mine first macro encounter was a 135mm on bellows

Never tried extension tubes.

Bob

Thanks Kent,

Backyard exploratory

Processing is vanilla LR 4.4, just nudging sliders around.

The real test comes with HH & a moving target. I know others do it, and do it well, but going to take some practice before then (about 3 weeks out).

Regards,

Bob

Thank you again,

Bob
