p.1 #1 · Backroads of N Central Oregon

Not sure whether these images belong in this forum or the Architecture forum but will post them here because I consider them more in the landscape mode. I post the School House (or church) in color and mono for comparison. Comments always welcome.

These are awesome! what a cool find. LIke both 1 and 2. In the 3rd one there is not enough seperation in tones to make the house stand out.
#4 is cool!

Hey Mike,

Cool stuff here. The landscape doesn't take a backseat here to the buildings, so this is a good place to post these.

#1 is my favorite, great work on the B&W. As to #2 and 3, I like the B&W version, though in terms of B&W I think the look in #1 is a bit stronger. With the color version, I am thinking it is lacking in contrast, the tones just seem too even, like it's an HDR. Put a little more punch in it like the contrast in the B&W's. And you sure got some nice color in the sky in #4.

The first one is definitely my favourite in the set. The colour ones look a little too "overdone", but the black and whites are fantastic.

Very nice Mike. #1 & #4 are my favorites. Leading lines in #1 really make it a strong composition. Colors in #4 are nice and warm but look very natural to me. Great work on all of the shots.

Really like 1 and 4. I don't think the building stands out enough for me in 2 & 3.

I've always liked weathered wood Mike and these are some charmers buddy!

I really like #1 in both B&W and color
#2 came alive in your edit version, nice one
I am appreciating the last pano, I like panos as you know I like the open comp, I like that there is plenty of detail in the darks yet nothing that detracts from focusing on the blazing sky and that my friend is one heck or sunset! Nice depth in this shot for me

Take care

Cool shots. I like #1 best at B&W.

This gives me ideas. I'll probably check them out once the Gorge dies down.
