p.1 #1 · p.1 #1 · EOS 6D & C/Y adapter problem

Just tried my Carl Zeiss 50mm f1.7 on a second C/Y adapter fitted on a EOS 6D body.
After the first exposure, the viewfinder goed dark, so the mirror doesn't flip back.

Only after moving either the lense or the adapter, the mirror slaps back.
If shaving is required to get enough clearance, how do I proceed. Which cam or other part can be filed off, without impairing the function?

Surprising, I have a 1,7/50 C/Y that works without mirror collision on my 5DII, and I had the impression that the 6D had less mirror clearance issues than the 5DII.

Is it AF confirm type of adapter? If it is, the chip may be incompatible. Try to tape down a pin, it might work without focus confirmation then.

I tried two adapters. With and without AF chip, but no joy...

You should shorten the aperture lever on the lens, perhaps.
