Thanks a lot Tim and everyone. I have started to use a fill flash recently and hopefully get better pictures with the 7D. Birds here in Hawaii are just amazing. Hoping to go out today and shoot some White Terns that are breeding and have chicks.

These are very nice, Vishnu. I saw (but don't think I commented) on the Lyon post; it's impressive (and envy-inducing) to see this kind of diversity and beauty in your backyard!
I agree with Jude...I like the first one the best, in part because it's a great image, and in part because the techs look excellent. I think some of the others could benefit from a critical focus on the eye rather than a cm fore/aft. (The exact same suggestion has been made for some of my images).
I think some of these were also in your Lyon post, and were ID'ed; I don't know about others, but I very much enjoy seeing IDs if known.
