p.1 #1 · Pileated woodpecker and a bonus marsh rabbit
I have been trying to get some pictures of a pileated for quite some time and they have eluded me. Well on Sunday while I was at a local park this guy flew up and landed on a palm tree and allowed me to snap off a few quick pictures before he flew off. Unfortunately he was heavily shaded but they still turned out half way decent. As always cc welcomed and appreciated.

A nice set Eric. I think the shade helped on the exposures. My brother in law say one the other day for the first time. He said it looked 3' tall... ~ Ron
