Well my buddy Justin called me the other day and told me that he had found this duck while he was out taking some pics of mottle ducks. I hurried up and got over to the pond and sure enough he was still there. He was much more skittish than the other ducks that were there. After a few attempts of trying to get a little closer he decided he had enough and flew off. Justin went back yesterday and sure enough there he was sitting there again. I will have to get back over there and get some more pics. I am sure he is an escapee from a zoo or someones aviary but it was still neat to see him out in the wild. CC always welcomed. Eric, I like #2 and #4 the best. If you Google this duck you will find out that there are quite a few of them in North America now. At one time they were just a sporadic visitor but no more. You have some nice captures of that beautiful drake.

Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. I will go back and check the whites on them, especially some of the ones on the water. On my computer the in flight ones seem to be ok. I will for sure be back to see if I can get some more of him.
