Ive been working on my processing of 7D files, I was getting a bit annoyed with my results but keep trying to improve noise reduction issues Ive had, I think Im getting there now. Cant really afford to change cameras so have to lift my game I love these colours. This is about a 60% crop from a file shot with a 7D and 100-400L
Lovely fall colors in the BG and the leaves surrounding the Honey Eater are beautiful... I very much like your composition also Julie.
NR looks pretty good, although it looks like you may have missed a couple of areas between the bird and branch to the viewer's left.
Lovely image, well done.

Thank for the comment, yes I saw I missed a bit, still find it hard not to pixel peep, spoiled by 5DII noiseless files in comparison I guess
This is a very pleasant image, Julie, with the setting and composition adding to the shot.
NR looks well controlled for a ISO 1600 image. Which NR program do you use?
