Just playing around in my studio this morning I FINALLY got a decent portrait of myself.
The reason of this playing around is I am doing this at tomorrow´s wedding to the groom with a little kicker light this is why I put it in this forum and not in the portraiture one.
While you have the light set up that way you could probably do a profile as well and get a rembrandt light without moving the light at all.. Maybe holding a glass of scotch.
I think you made it relevant by pointing out that you intend to do this of the groom and asking for critique which may result in a tighter image from your wedding.
