Nice shots, nr 3 and 5 for me, i would like to see some exifs. How do you sharpen the fotos, i think u can get much more.I use capture one 7 for sharpening the raws and it does a really good job ( see thepiratebay ) .And for noise reduccion, Neat Image does a great job too .Andrei
thanks Andrei.
there,s no noise in these images.i use nik Define, plus at ISO 100 or even 200 you get no noise on the 5dMK111.
I sharpen my tiffs when done in P/S ,and then the jpegs when resizing for the webb.have a lot of plug-ins and software at my disposal.
think what brian is referring to,is with the mpe,say at f/16,and you were to increase the mag to x5,you would be effectively at f/96. so you need to open the aperture up accordingly to avoid diffraction.so at x5 on full frame f/5.6,or maybe f/6.3 max.for my stacks I usually shoot at f/4.
my problem occurs in the heat of the moment while shooting an insect at low mag,and then increasing,i sometimes forget to open up the aperture accordingly.
Hi Dennis, it is obvious that there is no noise in the photos, i was just saying that some of the photos looks some kind of soft and i didnt knew if it was the cause was the movement, the diffraction or a very soft sharpening.I ve just found that one of the best sharpening methods for me are the ones found in the nikons viewnx, capturenx2 and capture one 7 pro.Thank u for your time!Andrei.
