Very nice. Cool locations. I love your processing on these and how they are so devoid of other people. In 3, I'd be tempted to get rid of those cars, to give it an even more 'empty' feel. I also don't really get the sign kicking in 12. Normally I'll see that kinda thing if the sign is telling you 'not' to do something and you're trying to show a little rebellion. But this sign is so polite, like "Hey please be careful, we don't want you to get hurt", so kicking it, is like hitting your grandma or something...Show more →
Thank you for the critique. I thought about taking out the cars in 3, however, I like the idea of her being away from the public. The background is normal life, and she is in her own world behind that grungy dumpster. So in that respect, I feel like it fits in a cool way which isn't too distracting. But heck, maybe I'll take out the cars to see which shot I do like best!
at the grandma comment! I put that picture in for the lulz. It's not really edgy at all, other than adding humor to the blog post
The pictures where she is addressing the camera with her eyes are the best.
I had chills editing the pics of her looking into the camera. Her eyes are very powerful!
All good, I like #10 the best.
Thank you! 10 is personal favorite of mine as well. (Along with 13)
2, 10 and 13 are just stellar for me! Great job!
Doesn't really strike me as a lifestyle shoot, though. When I think of that, I think more documentary PJ style, whereas these looked posed. They do look great, though! Nice job!
I've had that happen a couple times I post pictures on here. I really don't do much with posing, other than slight direction on my end. Maybe these are more fashion/editorial? It's something I've been considering getting more into (besides my usual wedding sessions)
You know how I feel, Mike. Frickin' brilliant, man!
Haha thanks Mike! My next post on here should be REAL good.
the lifestyle looks edgy !
Thanks! I'm glad you were able to feel that same vibe in this session
