This honestly was more of a "would like to know what kind of bird is in that tree over there" kind of shot, but I like its simplicity.

Due to really liking how the tree looked, the hawk takes a bit of searching for.

I guess I'd like to know if it's worth a view or should be left by the wayside.

I like the stark nature of the image - maybe a touch more contrast? Keep the hawk. Crop #2.

I'd keep the shot but I dont think it will sustain much interest for most viewers, unless it becomes part of a series.

Might be one to get creative with to take toward a kind of abstract/graphic vibe ... Scott's point @ it's ability to sustain is a bit challenging. I'd explore "pushing it" to maybe enhance its staying power. Something out of the box ... or maybe not.

Scott - good point. It grabs my eye for more than a second, whereas I found myself kinda bored with my edit.
