A few shots from the bottle opener shanghai(WFC)

This was challenging for me as I don't shoot landscape normally. The issues were the dirty and reflective window and the busy ness.

Luckily we got a good..if not the best spot as we arrived before the crowds wanting to see the sun set.
The glass though caused a lot of issues even with a cpl and the lens pressed against the glass the reflections screwed up a lot of my shots.

Very nice. My fear of heights keeps me from visiting that building.

Thanks

I'm not great with heights ,but the first few min are the only time I flt a bit queasy. After that it was fine. Make sure you get up earlyish if heading for sun set. We went up around 5.30-6pm for the 6.30-7ish sun set and managed to get a good space. Also make sure you go to the top floor...the windows here slant inwards at the bottom allowing a better shot down, the other floors are the opposite.

Also make sure you have a good cpl..I had a cheap 20 pound one and it only helped a little.

Using a rubber lens shade, allows you to get rid of reflections, by pressing right up to the glass.

Thanks, may have to get ne for my next trip, this time I had the lens pressed against the glass with a jacket draped over the top. There still seemed to be reflections though. Not sure if its cause the hole bit it glass all around

I had a tripod set up. I did a few shot with a 10 stop but that seemed to amplify any reflections and they weren't the sharpest. The first shot was 0.5 sec the second 1 sec exposure at iso 100 so a tripod was needed.

Damn that's a sweet view. I like both as they each have a great mood to them. I'm going to have to remember that spot if I ever get a chance to go there one day.
