Very nice shots Tam .. BCNH really are very photogenic, are they common in N.America ? There aren't many birds that are found all across the Northern Hemisphere but is seems these are one of them.
I really like the BCNH's, and you captured two very nice static shots here Tam.
Very nice light and BG in #1, and I like the play of light and shadows in #2... well done.
The second one is nice but the first one is awesome. Exposure and feather details are very nice and the pose and perch make for a real piece of eye candy. Well done
